More Ways to Make Money from Website or Blogs-Part II of Detailed Guide
I am sure that all of you were waiting for this sequel to my previous post on making money from website or blogs, so here I am today with the concluding section that has even more brilliant ways to monetize your blogs and websites.
But let me inform you beforehand that most of the methods described in this part, focus on the experts and the professionals who have been blogging and maintaining their websites for a couple of years at least.
Offer Consulting Services to Make Money
This method cannot be used by anyone and everyone. You will first need to establish yourself as an expert and develop a credible reputation in order to make use of this method to make money. And that definitely takes time and efforts and more importantly a constant flow of valuable and useful content from your blog.
The time taken to be considered and accepted as an expert may vary with different niches and with various people, but overall it is a method that has to be approached with patience and tact.
The trick is to first create high value content that solves different kinds of problems that others like you are facing in your niche. Once you gain the trust of your peers that you are the go to person for getting problems in your niche solved, then you can safely conclude that it is time to monetize your talents now.
Please note that you will have to continue providing free tips too, but it goes without saying that the problems tackled by your free tips will be at a beginner level. Anything that needs expert advice must be charged for at an hourly rate or as a onetime fee according to your preferences and project specs.
Offering Courses and Tutorials
This is another method that is aimed at professionals and experts and not something that I recommend to newbie bloggers and fresh entrants in to the online business world. You will have to develop both authority and credibility online, before you can rush to start tutorials and courses and expect to earn decent income from this method.
Many professional bloggers make use of webinars to conduct their tutorials and some of them use a combination method with downloadable digital documents (e-courses, PDF files, and eBooks) and series of webinars and videos.
Offering Mentoring Programs
This method too can be used only if you have enough authority, credibility and online popularity, not to mention a professional and educational qualification to back you up. Getting paid to mentor someone is quite different than conducting courses and tutorials.
When you mentor someone, you assume a responsibility to make that person capable of achieving whatever he / she is paying you for. In simple words, when you teach someone something, you are not guaranteeing that they will be able to use that information and make use of it as intended.
For example, a school teacher teaches all students in her class about solving problems in fractions during her Math class. Though all students received the tutoring, not all of them will be able to use that knowledge and successfully solve problems by themselves.
But when this teacher becomes a mentor for a particular student, she will make sure that this student is given both adequate training and continued hand held support until the student successfully reaches a point where any problem in fractions can be easily solved.
So, becoming a mentor is a huge responsibility, but it definitely creates the biggest chunk of income for any online business professional.
